Does anybody have any info on the validity of this statement:

"In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, he hosted 'Entertaining America' on "WCTR" after the original host was killed during taping."

yes it's real. however it is FICTIONAL. I will specify it. --TBH 01:46, 19 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

[edit]

is this photo a photo of lazlow or someone else? File:Lazlow.PNG--TBH 01:46, 19 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I e-mailed lazlow asking him to verify it and he said it is indeed him --TBH 19

Patton Oswalt

[edit]

I've noticed that the two sound extremely similar. Is it possible that Lazlow is Patton, masquerading under a pseudonym? 75.2.9.203 23:48, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is the most idiotic thing ever. Why are there Patton Oswald trolls everywhere? If Patton was able to do the Opie & Anthony show (where Paltalk cams caught him as a thin guy with long blonde hair) then I guess Patton is Lazlow.
There's no cause to troll what you assume to be trolling - given how old the original question is, there's a likely possibility that this article wasn't nearly as informative as it is currently, possibly even lacking a photo back in 2006. Personally, when I heard Lazlow first speak, I did immediately notice a similarity in voice to Patton Oswalt but since I'd seen him in person I didn't go as far to assume he was anyone else but himself. --99.186.110.193 (talk) 11:29, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Permanent XM Show

[edit]

Lazlow said at least twice on his last XM show that they were going to try to do it once a month. I think it shouldn't be "unclear." 24.96.177.24 05:50, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bully

[edit]

Was on Opie & Anthony recently (October 2, 2006) where he revealed that he did all the audio production in Bully. He also was able to hook up Jim Norton & Steve Carlesi with voice work in the game. Was also revealed that Opie, Anthony, Jim & Steve all did voice work for GTA4.

It was for GTA:VCS not GTA4 --thinkpad 06:28, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lazlow Jones

[edit]

Just to let you all know, his ful name is Lazlow Jones. That can be verified on his website, or email him. I think the title of the page should be changed to reflect that, even though he only uses Lazlow most of the time. Iamdigitalman 21:52, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just moved the page. If people object to this, please discus it here. Also, in the future, don't be afraid to make changes yourself. Be bold. Toad King 16:51, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jaguar Skills

[edit]

Lazlow co-produced a CD and a mini-skit (aired on his Lazlow Show) with Jaguar Skills, but I don't remember much about it. But it should go in his Discography.

Fair use rationale for Image:Vicecityostvrock.jpg

[edit]

Image:Vicecityostvrock.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Jeffrey C. Jones

[edit]

I can't find anywhere that Lazlow's full name is Jeffrey C. Jones. Everybody calls him Lazlow or Lazlow Jones. --Joriz (talk) 15:10, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Email him and see for yourself. Jeffrey was his given name; he changed it to Lazlow when he entered radio, so it would be more memorable.--84.37.100.234 (talk) 21:54, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What? I know Lazlow. His birth name is/was Jeffrey. His drivers license says "Jeffrey Jones". It's his real name.
Lazlow even edited this page himself to allude to this fact:

The image Image:Head technofile.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

YOB

[edit]

His date and year of birth has frequently been changed in this article. From 1973-09-04 to 1976-09-14 to 1972-09-14, and on more occasions. All edits done by IPs and without sources. I think we simply should admit that there is currently no sourced DOB that can be given. --FordPrefect42 (talk) 11:53, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
